Pharaons 2006: The Hungarian Flex-MAN Team in Stage 5.

Dune, dune, dune and sand. This is the short story of Pharao rally day five. To detail it we can say that the track in first section was similar to trial grounds, dunes were appeared from CP2 Control Point. Sometimes the heights were 250-300 metres and the team could climb to the top about 20-30 seconds but started from 100 km/h speed from bottom. The team had no technical problem this stage but this can_t say from other teams. During the stage they passed 3 cars and 1 truck in overturned state. They didn_t stop to help them because somebody was there when they had arrived to scene. Thanks to the good driving the team finished the stage on third position which is a very nice result known the difficulty of this stage.
The team has - jumped again ahead 1 place - finished on place 17th in overall and waiting the next stage from place 4th in their category.
Balazs Szobi: "Today stage was completed very well. We have approached high dunes with respect and they made good returns for us, we arrived to the finish line on third fastest truck team. We were all together very happy that we could complete this hard stage, I hope after next stage I can say the same because that stage - named in crews - is the hardest and the most decisive stage in Pharao rally."
