 | Pharaons Rally: A perfect stage for French Eric Vigouroux in Chevy Protruck.
|

 | | | Without taking any risk, Eric Vigouroux carried out the fourth best time of the 411 km special. Overall, the Trophy Truck is seventh and always third in the Two Wheel Drive Trophy. "It was a very nice special, in an amazing landscape, and not dangerous, except for some cut end dunes that we crossed. At the summit of one of this dune "cliffs" we saw the helmet of Jean Louis Schlesser and Arnaud Debron that "put" the Buggy and they were working with their shovels," tells Vigouroux.
"For us, it was a perfect day. A real contrast with the last two stages: Our inflating-deflating system is finally repaired and we never left the car during the whole special stage. One day before the finish of the race, and the FIA Cross Country World Cup Two Wheel Drive Trophy, it was not useful to take any risks. I improved myself in sand driving and Alex has done a great navigation work. We didn´t have any problems."
Tomorrow, the last stage will join Siwa to El Alamein, at the Mediterranean Coast in a 560 km journey. 240 km of it will be ground for the last battle.
