|Pharaons Rally TICKER: Egyptian FIA World Cup Rally officially confirmed.|
As a confirmation that Egypt is more than ever on the way to modernity and political stability, the "Pharaons Rally", round of the FIA Cross Country World Cup, has again the full support of the Egyptian Ministry of Tourism.
"We are therefore glad to confirm our commitment and pleasure in the organization of the Pharaons Rally race due to run from September 28th to October 5th in the Western Desert of Egypt" the organization said on Tuesday, August 6th.
Egyptian Minister of Tourism, Hisham Zaazou, wrote in an official letter: "I would like to personally affirm the commitment of the Ministry of Tourism and the Egyptian government in providing the necessary support to ensure the success of the Pharaons Rally 2013 edition as well as all future editions."
"As you are well aware, the political situation in Egypt, which has been tense lately, is moving towards stability with the appointment of a civilian government whose main focus is to get the economy back on track."
"Tourism is one of the key areas of this government given Egypt´s ideal conditions in terms of attractions, weather and accessibility. In that respect, Pharaons Rally is a major event to demonstrate our commitment the above goals."
"I would also like to highlight that Egypt´s western desert, where the Rally shall take place, is under the army´s full control and is far removed from any political manifestations. "We are looking forward to welcome you in Egypt in October 2013 and wish for a sccuessful event."
