Portuguese CC: Race diary of Bernardo Moniz da Maia – Part 3.

It is always interesting to learn about how do those guys in the cockpit see the rallies from the inside. This weekend we have the honour to publish the diary of Bernardo Moniz da Maia, team mate of reigning Portuguese Champion Filipe Campos (X-Raid BMW X3 CC) from the TT Terras de Raia, seventh and penultimate round of the Portuguese Championship in Castelo Branco, Portugal.

”What an exhibition, what a fight. Today it was a great stage, we started with a 34 seconds gap to third place, in the beginning our rival was gaining time to us, but in the last five quilometers we recovered all the time that we were able to finish in third place with a three seconds ahead.

It was hard, but with our capacity, the magnificence of our BMW X3, and all the people that work with us, we managed to arrive to the end of the Rali Terras da Raia, with the second podium of the season.

Yser Racing Team was at its best level, with a great exhibition, we managed to reach the second and third place of the Rali. With these points, Filipe is now the leader of the championship and I am in the second position.

No one expected that with just one race to the end of the Championship, we both were in the front of it, but, we should underline, that it's all the professionalism of our team and the quality of the pilots that result in the victories and podiums reached.

Now it’s time for us and all our supporters to celebrate.”
