 | Raduno Carnia 4x4: 16th open Offroad event in Northern Italy this weekend.

Sunday 3th june 2012 "FuoristradaWeb" and "Fuoristrada Club Tolmezzo" will organize a meeting dedicate to all 4x4 and Quad. This year the event is at number 16 edition, and it’s really appreciated by the local people who loves 4x4, becouse the route give a lot of fun to all kind of partecipants.
There will be river section with water, and with stones, there will be mud part, there will be fast track into the forest, where to take care of the trees, coming in front of the cars. During the day there will be a 100 kms off road track, but there will be also some specials stage for the most "races" teams who want to dare themselves and the others.
The very interesting thing is also the great possibility to test the local food, with so many specialities of Friuli Venezia Giulia and Carnia. Infact the event will be organized in Carnia, North Italy close to the border with Austria, starting from Tolmezzo (with the patronage of the municiplity) at 8.30 in the morning and will finish in Carnia at 18.30 with a great dinner and prize giving.
The classment will be realized for 2 different points, one regarding the 4x4 driving, the second regarding the ecological meaning of the meeting. Infact during the day, all the teams that like to partecipate (all is elective) to collect the rubbish that could be along the track, then all cars will pass to the ecologic area to leave the rubbish, and the organization will weight how many kilos every team brought.
It’s really a funny experience, car everyone can find the right motive to enoy the event, with a great landscape to discovery: the green of the bigs xmas trees, the cold blue of the river and the water, the majestic of the Alps with the warm welcome of the local people. So there will be every kind of teams: With prepared 4x4, with the normal 4x4 that usually is used to go to work, family with kids that never been off road.
