 | Raid of the Champions: Oliver Sólyom - "I'll never be caught alive".
|

 | | | The service crew of the Hungarian Sólyom Team is deep into the preparations for the last round of the Hungarian Cross-Country Rally Championship. The "Raid of the Champions" has a total length of 857 kms from which 388 kms will be against the clock and this requires a well prepared car. The event that takes place in Gyor (in the Northwestern part of Hungary) on 12-14th November would be a great opportunity to test it under race conditions.
The biggest task is still to find a solution for the trouble with the gearbox. The aim is that the Team´s "HaKia" gets a new, more developped gearbox without major reconstruction.
Meanwhile the in the workshop the work is on, Sólyom Team welcomes on board one more new media partner. From now on, rally fans can read about the team also in Spain, thanks to the partnership with [ www.rallyraid.es ].
Olivér Sólyom: "I am extremely happy that we can share our news also with rally fans in Spain. We aspire to make publicity for Hungarian rallies abroad and hope that foreign teams will feel like coming to Hungary to race. We start this right now, with Raid of the Champions. As for the car, changes are always risky so i have some doubts about the gearbox but we'll do our best to be successful. One thing is for sure, we won't give up. I'll never be caught alive!"
