 | SA-Dakar 2011: Zé Hélio to participate for injured French David Frétigné

The Brasilian biker and "Dos Sertoes"-Winner Zé Hélio will compete in the South America Dakar 2011. He will join the BMW SpeedBrain Monster Motobike team instead of the French David Frétigné, who was injured during the "OiLibya Rally of Morocco" in October. After the latest X-ray scans the medicals and teammanager Wolfgang Fischer decided, that a start would be too risky for the health of Frétigné.
Zé Hélio is multiple winner of the Sertoes Rally and very familiar with the BMW engines because he participated with a BMW G450RR in this year´s Sertoes Rally for testing reasons. The 2011 SA-Dakar will be his second Dakar, in 2009 he finished 12th. His last Rally was the "Australasian Safari" as guest-starter for Husaberg together with Annie Seel.
"I received a telephone call from Germany by Wolfgang Fischer and immediately confirmed" the Brasilian told. "I´m very happy to participate in the Dakar again. Now it´s time to strenghen my workout."
