 | SA-Dakar Rally: Joan Barreda eventually injured - "I think I can get to Lima".

"I am elated with this victory, but this is not only mine" said Spaniard and today´s winner Joan Barreda (Husqvarna) after the stage. "All components of a team like Speedbrain Husqvarna by working in a very professional and gave me the opportunity and the means to get here and achieve this great result, the victory belongs to everyone."
"The Husqvarna is very comprehensive and responds exceptionally in all fields, the proof is the results we obtained in almost all stages. After the problems of the rear wheel of the third stage, I have been considering the test day. In the later stages I have done better and yesterday, for example, I could attack and decided to do it" he reported.
"In today's stage I had a problem with his foot. It has been very fast in a curve, which was 120 km/h. I've beaten a stone and suddenly I thought the leg pulled. At the arrival to the neutralization, they gave me some painkillers and I was able to hold out until the end of the stage. We'll have to see what I have. I thought I had fractured his fibula but apparently not. I do not know the severity of the injury but in principle I think I can get to Lima."
