 | SA-Dakar Rally TICKER: 1-2-3-4 for Iveco on SS12 - Kamaz lost time again.

After struggling across the dunes at the end of the special stage, three Iveco trucks came together and headed for the end of the timed section, finishing within a whisker of each other.
Gerard De Rooy won 32 seconds ahead of Hans Stacey and Miki Biasion, who crossed the line with exactly the same time. Jo Adua from France needed 10:16 minutes more then De Rooy as 4th. The 5th position was also fro a Dutch team: Wuf van Ginkel and his Ginaf took a gap of 15:17 mins.
Kamaz factory driver Andrey Karginov stcked in the dunes for a lot of time and wasn´t still in the finish on 22:36 CET, whilst private Kamaz driver Arthur Ardavichus from Kasachstan lost a considerable amount of time over the last third of the stage.
In the overall standings, Gerard de Rooy is still the leader, now with 40:50:55 hours and a gap of 56:30 minutes to his team mate Hans Stacey and 01:39:43 to Arthur Ardavichus (Kamaz). 4th is provisionally Iligizar Maardev with the best factory-Kamaz and 05:04:49 hours to De Rooy...
