 | SA-Dakar Rally TICKER: Cyril Despres wins SS11 in front of Farres and Coma.

The French KTM rider Cyril Despres has won the 11th stage of the 2012 Dakar from Arica to Arequipa - a totally new route, which crossed the border and finished in Peru.
Despres needed 04:03:37 hours for the 534 kms, 1:39 minutes ahead the second Gerard Farres Guell (Spain, KTM) and 2:01 ahead of Marc Coma. 4th became the French KTM-driver Johnny Aubert (+3:30) and the Spaniard Joan Barreda with the best Husqvarna (+4:53).
In the overall rankings Cyril Despres is still leading with 37:11:16 hours and a short gap of 2:22 minutes to Marc Coma. The Portuguese Helder Rodrigues stays 3rd but lost some time, he now is 01:08:40 hours behind Despres. 4th is Jordi Viladoms (KTM, F, +01:24:46) in front of the Slovak Stefan Svitko (KTM, +01:34:56).
