 | Schwerin Offroad Days: 4x4-Fun and navigation-training in North Germany.

Already for the third time, the "Schweriner Offroad Tage" (Offroad days of Schwerin) take place on April, 30th and May, 1st. The event is addressed to both, the suv-drivers who like to move their vehicle on easy ground as well as to the "genuine" offroaders who drive their cars in GORM (German Offroad Championship) manner. There are cups to be won in different categories. The suv´s, cross country vehicles and the modified cars represent these categories.
At these days, fun with driving will be the main issue. With the aid of a road book, the route leads through nature in Northern Germany but a speed limit is to be respected.
"As many ways in this area are not paved, we included a high portion of field and forrest tracks" said Ingo Kaldarasch, one of the organisers. "Further tasks will be in a separate offroad-area. The challenge is to drive with smartness, constancy, knowledge and experience according to the categories. For all who like to do it, there are short acceleration and circular track competitions available. Every participant needs to pass 6 to 10 tests, before the cups and prizes will be handed over."

Exciting assessments and challenges in the "Motodrom Plate"in the off-road course, the trail course, the navigation trip into the countryside, the prevention exercise, the constancy course and the skills course. In the evening, award ceremony and party with DJ.
On May, 1 the "Motodrom Plate is opened at 9:00 a.m. for the audience.There are games and fun for the whole family, from the bouncy castle to a taxi ride in a GORM participant vehicle.Since the Motodrom is situated near Schwerin (3 kms), we expect many viewers.
