 | Sealine Rally Qatar: Team Schlesser continues lead in 2012 FIA World Cup.

After a sixth victory at the "Abu Dhabi Desert Challenge", Team Schlesser-Sonangol was running at the "Sealine Qatar Rally", counting towards the FIA World Cup for Cross-Country Rallys.
Unlike the dunes of Abu Dhabi, Qatar Sealine Rally was held on a dry and very stony territory. "Every day we had to drive carefully and avoid punctures" Jean-Louis Schlesser said after the event.
Starting the super special, in spite of a ground less adapted to the buggy, the driver-manufacturer was immediately placed in the Top 6. On the third and fourth stage, the buggy Sonangol had two podium. At the final, he finished fourth and won the two-wheel drive category.
The result: Leader of the Cross Country World Cup for Pilot, Copilot and Team, Leader of the Cross Country World Cup Two Wheel Drive Trophy for Pilot and Manufacturer class.
"I am satisfied with the overall result as we reinforced our leading position in the FIA Two Wheel Drive Cross Country World Cup and on the other hand, we keep the overall classification of the Cross Country World Cup " said Jean Louis Schlesser.
