 | Serres Rally: 5 days and 1400 kms Rally Raid in the North-East of Greece.

The final countdown has begun: The biggest Rally Raid in Greece, the [ SERRESRALLY.COM ] in Serres in the North-East of the country, is slowly unfolding it's horizons. From August 28th until September 2nd 2012, 1400 kms in 5 days are waiting for the participants.
The way Serres Rally has been designed makes it one of the most value-for-money races. Entries are growing with competitors from all over the world, and the organizers' limits are already being approached.
The amazing routes have already been written and are being checked, and they combine every kind of off road terrain, from technical trails for bikes, to fast open courses, and include the easier and faster parts of the ISDE 2008 path routes. Paddocks are already being set up at Elpida Resort & Spa.
Technical support for motorcycles will be available from specialised mechanics at typical, competitive prices. Michelin will be present as well, and orders for mousses and tires are already open. For cars, Malatesta Tires will also provide tires and support.
Regarding safety, many ambulances and recovery vehicles with doctors and paramedics will be on standby, as well as an emergency helicopter at the paddocks.
The full-colored, detailed roadbook, as well as a maximal information booklet with all kinds of helpful tips for competitors and support crews which will include access and spectator points to the race course have already been printed. Daily briefing of the route will be by overhead projector in a specially designated auditorium.
The race will also be projected via public live tracking on the web, thanks to the advanced satellite tracking system by My-Track who provides the maximum possible safety with their fleet management GPS Trackers.
Results will be promptly posted online at [ MOTO-LIVE.INFO ] by Infomega. All vehicles will be equipped with timing sensors. As soon as a competitor finishes a stage, he/she will be able to check all times posted on a monitor.
