The month of August has been strong in emotion for the champion, with the arrival of the little Gina August the 14th. Welcome to the little baby and Congratulations to parents, Cyril and Laia!
This 'break' with his family and without competition allowed by his sponsors Cyril to heal properly its small wounds. With the support of Laia, he was able from time to time to keep out his duties as a young daddy and improve his fitness by riding more than 2,500 kilometers by bicycle.
Since this week is preparing for the Rally of Morocco from 17 to 23 October 2010, during which he will test in real conditions of race, his new bike: The KTM 450 Rally in blue colors of Red Bull, and then he will follow up with the Dakar. "From today until Rally of Morocco in October I have to do a maximum of kilometers in order to validate the reliability of my bike before the race".

Cyril Despres, on his new KTM will probably get to the heart of the victory that had been ‘pinch’ at the final stage in the Morocco Rally 2009 by the 2010 champion Marc Coma. A great battle will be played between thses two world champions (Cyril 2009 and Marc 2010), at the Rally of Morocco in preparation for the South America-Dakar 2011.
