Shamrock Rally: Stéphane Peterhansel maintained dominance.

| |
|
 | | | Today’s stage was the longest of the rally and included technical passages as well as easy tracks, small dunes and fast off-road parts. Stéphane Peterhansel extended his overall lead in the car category; the Frenchman produced a master class performance on the long day and was able to take the fourth successive stage win.
"The stage today was a good mixture of fast and technical parts; the first part of the leg in the mountains was really narrow and on the second loop we lost some time as a result of a puncture" said Peterhansel. The second X3 - driven by Leonid Novitskiy - cruised into second place on the stage and as well in the overall classification. He encountered no problems on the long day section and reached the finish with a lead of 30 minutes to the third place.
