Shamrock Rally: The X-raid drivers were able to repeat success.

| |
|
 | | | The first stage of the day was canceled due to an accident of one of the organization’s vehicles. The second part of the day was a very stony and fast leg with a hard off-road section straight after the start. There were a lot of "surprises" because the cautions signs in the road book were almost all triple cautions. Moreover the navigation was very difficult today, but Stéphane Peterhansel and Jean-Paul Cottret who have been a team for long time as well as the new duo of Leonid Novitskiy and Andreas Schulz were able to get through the stage very fast.
Team manager Sven Quandt expressed satisfaction with the results so far and is looking forward for the next days. "The Morocco Rally is our final test rally for the Dakar. We are still making some fine adjustments but in general the drivers and the team are happy with the car".
