Transiberico Rali: Nani Roma wins Super Stage in Portugal.

Even with a new team, new car and new co-driver, Spanish Nani Roma (X-Raid BMW X3CC) signed the fastest time in the super special stage of the "Transiberico Rali" in Portugal, two tenths of second faster than Filipe Campos, driving a similar car, in the 3000 meters of the itinerary. Miguel Barbosa (BMW X3 CC) set the third time, 1,9 s. slower than Roma, and Guerlain Chicherit (BMW X3 CC) was fourth, penalized for opening the road, with five BMW in the top five places.

Nicolas Misslin (Mitsubishi Pajero MRP 13) was the first non-BMW driver at the wheel of the ex-works Mitsubishi Pajero. Carlos Sousa spun and lost 21,8 seconds trying to put his Rancing Lancer in the right direction of the super stage and will start in 10th position (even if he is 22nd overall) for SS2, what can put some dust problems in case of overtaking the drivers in front of him. Nuno Matos had left front transmission problems and Boris Gadasin complained about his engine, after fuel injection problems.

Alexander Mironenko lost more than 15 minutes rolling at the end of the stage.
