Transorientale: More than 200 people for the presentation in Netherlands.

A lot of people came to Utrecht (Honda dealer, Thomas Debois) to attend the presentation of the Transorientale rally made by René Metge and Anne-Marie Gerandi. All the main Dutch teams and medias were represented: De Rooy, MAN, Ginaf, Eurotech, Dakar Sport - and also a a lot of pilots: Frans Verhoeven, Hans Stacey, Jan and Gerard De Rooy, Hans Bekx, Knuiman, Eric Verhoef, Rob Van Olst and Jaap Van der Kooy. They all have been seduced by the route and pictures of René Metge's recess trip. Many Dutch already confirmed that they will join this event in June 2008.
On the way back from China, René Metge stopped in Almaty to meet Bolat Aktaev, President of the Kazakhstan Motorsport Federation (car and motorcycle) to finalize the details of their collaboration concerning the organization of the Transorientale rally in Kazakztan.
