UAE Desert Challenge: Russian Leonid Novitsky retired from Rally.

Although he decided for continuing the rally yesterday, today afternoon Leonid Novitskiy had to announce his retirement from the UAE Desert Challenge.
But the reason is neither the loss of time on yesterday's stage, nor his penalty: he has to return to Moscow immediately due to business reasons. The next rally for the Russian driver will be the Dakar starting on 3 January.
