UAE Desert Challenge: Sheeikh Mayed presents Awards at a Gala Dinner.

H.H. Sheikh Mayed bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, son of H.H.Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, presented the trophies at the UAE Desert Challenge gala dinner.
Among those congratulated by Sheikh Mayed was the UAE’s Yahya Alhelei, who had an eventful last leg on Friday in his Liberty Prototype. A broken radiator on the penultimate special stage dropped him out of the picture in the provisional results as his arrival at the finish was delayed, but official results later confirmed he had held on to fifth place overall.
Sheikh Mayed was accompanied by Mohammed Ben Sulayem, President of the Emirates Automobile and Touring Club and the Desert Challenge organisers, for the prizegiving at Le Meridien Mina Seyahi on Friday night.
