UAE Desert Challenge: X-Raid´s Leonid Novitskiy is back on track.

After yesterday’s problems Leonid Novitskiy (X-Raid BMW X3CC) was back to action on today’s 314 km long ADNOC special stage. The Russian driver explained the past two days for marathonrally.com.
„Yesterday we had a good pace until we got stuck because of a broken v-belt. We lost three hours before we were able to continue. The next bad surprise hit us later in the camp: the officials of the FIA gave us two hours time penalty because of unauthorised service although they had nothing to prove this.
We had to decide what to do. Finally we went on because we really had a good time until the problem - and it proved to be a good decision. Today everything went fine. The car worked absolutely perfectly, we don’t have official times yet, but I think we clocked the second best time with a gap of less than two minutes to Nasser [Al-Attiyah]. We are really satisfied!”
